Winter health shake

A shake that has all the benefits of muscle building, and the bonus of possibly preventing a cold from sneaking up behind you and giving you a head slap.

what you will need is:

1. 1 cup non fat or skimmed milk
2. 1/2 cup low fat yoghurt
3. 1 tsp honey
4. 1/2 cup strawberries
5. 1/2 cup blue berries

Fats             2.7g
Kilojoules  1045.8 ( calories 249 )

if you would like a bit more protein for muscle building, the same applies as mentioned above, only difference is you will now be adding 1/2 scoop USN Whey protein ( vanilla )

Strawberries - are nutrient rich and packed with antioxidants, they are also packed with Vitamin C
known immunity booster which prevents flu and colds

Blueberries - boosts your brain, and may even prevent cancer, they too are also packed full of antioxidants called flavonoids.

Honey - contains antioxidants which help reduce the risk of some cancers and heart disease.

Low fat Milk and yoghurt - a consumption of these known food groups has been associated with lower risks of hypertension and type II Diabetes.
